Issue Description
We received an emergency call from a client reporting a water leak on the first floor, originating from the ceiling beneath the bathroom area.
Actions Taken
- Initial Assessment:
- Upon arrival, we began inspecting all plumbing fixtures in the bathroom.
- We identified the leak originating from the toilet.
- Customer Consultation:
- We explained to the customer that the toilet needed to be removed to inspect the underlying issue.
- Upon gaining approval, we removed the toilet.
- Problem Identification:
- Upon removal, we found the problem was with the flange underneath the toilet, which needed replacement.
- Approval and Replacement:
- After receiving the customer’s approval, we replaced the old flange with a new one.
- We also replaced the wax ring and sealed around the toilet.
- Post-Repair Testing:
- We flushed the toilet multiple times to ensure there were no leaks from the new flange and wax ring.
