Issue Description
We received a call from the client regarding a problematic sewer line.
- Initial Inspection:
- Conducted a camera inspection of the sewer line to assess its condition before commencing the project.
- The inspection revealed that the sewer line was in poor condition due to extensive root infiltration.
- Recommendation and Approval:
- We recommended replacing the old sewer line from the house to the curb area using trenchless technology. This method was chosen for its efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- After explaining the benefits, the homeowner approved the proposed solution and the project was scheduled to begin on the second day.
- Project Execution:
- On the scheduled day, we commenced the sewer line replacement using trenchless technology, which requires minimal digging.
- Two access points were created: one near the house and another near the sidewalk.
- The new sewer line was installed from the house to the curb area using the trenchless method.
- Post-Installation Testing:
- After completing the installation, we performed another camera inspection to ensure the new sewer line was properly installed and free of issues.
- Cleanup:
- The work area was thoroughly cleaned upon completion of the project.
